Five Things to Do in Maryland Heights This July

Centene Community Ice Center

It may be the middle of summer, but the Centene Community Ice Center has transformed into a winter wonderland! This event will take place indoors and feature a vendor area so you can get your holiday shopping done early. There will also be free ice skating (not including skate rental) from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Purchase a $10 wristband for the kids’ area and get pictures taken with Santa, access the bounce house/inflatables, arts & crafts, balloon twisting, and Christmas airbrushing!

Westport Playhouse
July 8th & 9th

Westport Playhouse is back bringing you legendary theatrical shows and concerts! Rockin’ Chair returns to the stage for a weekend of music from Laurel Canyon. Songs by Jackson Browne, Poco, Loggins & Messina, Crosby Stills & Nash, Little Feat, Linda Ronstadt, and The Eagles. Be sure to check out their full list of shows today!

Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre

This month is rockin at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. El Monstero with Living Colour is on July 9th and The Black Key with guest Band of Horses is on July 15th. Train is bringing their AM Gold Tour to town on July 16th and Rob Zombie & Mudvayne: Freaks on Parade Tour is on July 20th. Backstreet Boys are back on July 30th with the DNA World Tour. Family Movie Night
Community Center
Thursday, July 21st

Come rain or shine to the Family Movie Night showing of Race to Witch Mountain. All movies are free to attend and will be shown in the air-conditioned banquet rooms of the Community Center. Food and refreshments are welcome but please no glass containers. Seating will be provided but guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets. The Maryland Heights Police Department and Fire District will be supplying preshow ice cream again this year, so be sure to get your spot early!
