Cinco de Mayo, translated, is the 5th of May, but it’s meaning is so much more significant. It is the celebration of Mexico’s history and culture, and that is exactly what Maryland Heights plans to do on May 4th. Join us to pay homage to its rich history and tradition at the 2nd Annual Cinco de Mayo parade and celebration, starting at Aquaport at 10am. The parade route will venture down Ameling Road to McKelvey Road to Dorsett Road and ending at Casa Juarez Mexican Town. The celebration continues there with plenty of great entertainment for the whole family including a petting zoo, balloon artist and much more from 11am-1pm. Drink specials, Jalapeño eating contests and more! A DJ will begin at 12:00pm until 4:00pm and a Latin Band from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
